The Lebanese National Swimming Team Just Broke National Records At The FINA World Cup

During its participation in the FINA Swimming World Cup 2022 series opener, in Berlin, Germany, the delegation of the Lebanese National Swimming team succeeded in breaking Lebanese national records as follows:

Jad Ghaziri:

Ghaziri clocked 30.06 seconds and finished 57 out of 64 in the 50 meters breaststroke and 50 out of 58 in the 100m breaststroke.

In the 200 meters breaststroke, he recorded 2.21.35 minutes and ranked 33 out of 38. He also recorded 2.10.86 minutes and ranked 35 out of 41 in the 200 m individual medley.

Ahmed Safia

Safia scored 24.08 seconds and finished 100 out of 108 in the 50 meters freestyle. In the 100 meters freestyle, he recorded 51.97 seconds and finished 109 out of 121, while in the 50 meters backstroke, he clocked 26.35 seconds and finished 49 out of 59.

He also recorded 59.03 seconds and finished 52 out of 63 in the 100 m individual medley.

Rebecca Mezher

In the 100 meters freestyle, Mezher clocked 58.37 seconds and finished 60th out of 77, whereas in the 200 meters freestyle, she recorded 2.06.07 minutes and finished 59 out of 69.

In the 400 meters freestyle, she recorded 4.32.90 minutes and ranked 47th out of 48, while in the 50m Butterfly, she clocked 28.96 seconds and finished 51st out of 68.

Taline Murad

Murad clocked 30.90 seconds and finished 36 out of 50 in the 50 meters backstroke, while she recorded 1.04.69 minutes and finished 36th out of 50 in the 100m backstroke.

In the 200m backstrokes, she recorded 2.19.59 minutes and finished 36th out of 50 while in the 50-meter butterfly, she clocked 30.29 seconds and ranked 59 out of 68.

Lynn Al-Hajj

Al-Hajj scored 33.89 seconds in the 50 meters breaststroke and ranked 47th out of 57, while in the 100m breaststroke, she recorded 1.14.98 minutes and ranked 47th out of 64.

In the 200 meters breaststroke, she recorded 2.46.96 minutes and ranked 42 out of 45.

Shayna Katra

Katra recorded 36.81 seconds and finished 55 out of 57 in the 50 meters breaststroke, while in the 100m breaststroke, she recorded 1.20.24 minutes and finished 52 out of 64, whereas in the 100m individual medleys, she clocked 1.14.65 minutes and ranked 60th out of 61.
