Lebanese team defeats France in Rugby League World Cup match!

Yesterday, Lebanon played its first match in this year’s Rugby League World Cup. The Cedars played against France at the Canberra Stadium in Australia and ended the match with a 29-18 victory! According to

, this victory enables the Lebanese team to participate in the quarterfinals. A huge Lebanese crowd was cheering for the players and celebrating the victory! In fact, one of the players Robbie Farah

paid for the traveling fees of 100 Lebanese living in Sydney

to come and watch the game in Canberra since he wanted the stadium to be filled with Lebanese fans. This is a proud moment not only for The Cedars but also for all the Lebanese around the world! The Cedars is going to take part in the following games:
