Lebanon will play an important tennis match against Monaco in the Davis Cup competition on Friday and Saturday, September 16 and 17 at Notre Dame University Stadium, in Zouk Mosbeh, as Lebanon will play in the 2nd group of the competition.
The winner of this confrontation will play in the playoffs next March. Lebanon had previously been in the first group ranks, however, the country lost a match against Switzerland.
According to Arasportslb, Lebanon’s chances of defeating Monaco seem great, as the country advances Monaco by 20 places, since Lebanon’s rank in the International Tennis Federation is 42, while Monaco’s rank is 62.
The Lebanese team includes Benjamin Hassan, whose ranking is No. 293 in the world; Hadi Habib ranking No. 358; Hasan Ibrahim, ranking No. 1666; and Roey Tabet, Tamim Hallak; and Mustafa Al Natour (reserve players).
On the other hand, Monaco will play the match against Lebanon with Valentin Vacherot, ranking 271 in the world; Lucas Catarina, ranking No. 498; Hugo Nys, ranking No. 1101; and Roman Arneodo.
The schedule includes two men’s singles matches on Friday, September 16, followed by the men’s doubles and men’s singles matches on Saturday, September 17, 2022.
