Born in Beirut and raised in Abu Dhabi, the emerging Lebanese designer Yassmin Saleh has unveiled Shaabna, an enchanting collection for the Fall and Winter of 2022.
Her collection is “spiced” by the beautiful colors of Autumn, where brown hues and oranges meet light beiges, and the colors of the sky and the night find their places.
Yassmin Saleh’s collection features a see-through long-sleeved lace dress accentuated with handmade dentelle flowers, a pleated baby blue gown with open sleeves and cutouts, as well as a Poncho design combining silks and jacquards and stitch details.
A sense of nostalgia is used as Lebanese Yassmin Saleh is inspired by folklore prints as well as Middle-Eastern flower motifs with beautiful floating maxi skirts and details.
Yassmin Saleh exhibits “blurred” wide-leg pants and relaxed-fit chemise organza to add a double-layer effect.
Velvet is also present, as the collection showcases a sleeveless velvet maxi dress with lace applique.
The Fall-Winter Collection is aesthetically pleasing with its dark blue-toned draped skirt and light pink mid-waist maxi jersey acetate skirt.
The talented Lebanese designer also showcases a “curved” strapless gown with hand-stitched motifs to add an artistic touch.
