In total, Lebanon has registered 376,938 COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic, 77,925 of which are active cases, as 294,270 recoveries and 4,743 fatalities related to the disease have been recorded so far.
According to the report, 2,554 of the total cases are healthcare workers, 4 of whom tested positive in the past 24 hours.
In the same period, 2,680 COVID-19 patients recovered while 51 others passed away.
Currently, 2,192 patients are in hospital beds across the country, 898 are in critical condition and occupy intensive care unit beds, and 276 are on mechanical ventilation.
Between Sunday and Monday, a total of 8,337 tests to detect COVID-19 were administered, including 5,378 local PCR tests, 2,511 airport PCR tests, and 448 antigen tests, as per the Health Ministry’s data.
