In the past 24 hours, 62 patients passed away and 2,592 others recovered from the disease, according to the report.
In total, 4,508 COVID-19-related fatalities and 277,741 full recoveries have been recorded in Lebanon so far.
This puts active cases at 80,601 of the total 362,850 cases confirmed since the virus was first detected in Lebanon in February 2020.
Of the cumulative cases, 2,529 are medical workers, including 9 registered between Tuesday and Wednesday.
In the same period, 19,133 total tests were administered, including 17,083 local PCR tests and 1,520 others at Beirut Airport, as well as 530 antigen tests. So far, 2,951,383 tests have been administered in Lebanon in total since the beginning of the pandemic.
As of the time of writing, 2,161 COVID-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospital beds across the country.
Additionally, 911 patients are in critical condition in intensive care units and 283 are on mechanical ventilation.
