Lebanon Scored 4 Medals At The Youth MMA World Championships 2022

Lebanon achieved big success at the Youth MMA World Championships 2022 held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, scoring 4 medals: 1 gold and 3 bronze.

According to the Lebanese MMA Federation, Lebanon was ranked #12 out of 42 countries.

Lebanon started its winning streak after Adnan Hankeer was honored with the gold medal at the 2022 Youth MMA World Championships, beating players from Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Italy, and the Philippines.

Young Lebanese Yahya El Orr and Abdulrahman El baba won a bronze medal each, along with Angelina Naimi, who was the first woman medalist from Lebanon.

Held in Abu Dhabi by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF), the Youth MMA World Championships hosts MMA fighters, aged 12 to 17.

More than 400 athletes from 41 countries registered, which makes it one of the biggest MMA World Championships in the region.
