Lebanon Won 7 Medals At The 7th Istanbul International Inventions Fair

The Lebanese Innovators Society (L.I.S.), headed by Nour Lattouf, announced that Lebanon won seven medals for seven projects, which were presented at the 7th Istanbul International Inventions Fair (ISIF 2022).

Organized in Samsun, Turkey, the fair is hosted within the activities of one of the largest international exhibitions for aviation, weapons, and technological discoveries: TeknoFAST 2022.

The statement pointed out that the ISIF welcomed one million visitors from different countries and 270 inventors from 13 countries, including Lebanon.

During the closing ceremony, the results for Lebanon came as follows:

  • Five certificates of excellence and appreciation in addition to a Gold medal for the Holy Family University for the Interactive guide photosynthesis project by Layal Al-Maaz, Gracia Elias, Elissa Maria Ghosn, and Leah Francis
  • A Gold medal for Mustapha High School for the Insect Monitor project by Hani Alloush
  • A Gold medal for SAFIR High School for the Remid your pediatrician project
  • Two Silver medals for the Holy Family University:
    • For the Fleximondo project: All about a good flexible classroom by Miriam Soueid, Vanessa Eid, Sarah Ghosh, Yara Al-Qamou, and Teresa Lisha Lisha
    • In addition to the Survivor: Educational Escape Game project by Yara Moussa, Claudia Depp, and Marietta Bou Anton
  • A Bronze Medal for SAFIR High School to Secure your child from stranger abduction by Dr. Sultan Nassereddine and Amina Alloush
  • A bronze medal for the Holy Family University for the Aquatour: Learn about marine animals project by Aquilina Chalouhi, Leah Soma, Daisy el Baba, and Jessica Ghosn.
