On Saturday, the Lebanese security forces (ISF), in coordination with the army, carried out a massive raid in Wadi Khaled, a northern Lebanese town on the border of Syria.

The confrontation led to the killing of 13 terrorists and the arrest of 15 while two others reportedly escaped.

The army and the ISF have yet to make official statements with the latest updates regarding the attacks and arrests.

This successful raid comes just one day after the arrest of the terrorist Ahmad Al-Shami who is affiliated with the now-dead terrorist Khaled Tallawi.

Two weeks ago, Tallawi killed four Lebanese soldiers when they raided his terrorist cell in North Lebanon. Lebanese authorities also arrested terrorist Abdul Razzaq Al-Riz, who fled after the raid but was quickly apprehended.

All are suspected to be involved in the crime that took place in Kaftoun, which resulted in the killing of 2 municipal police members and the mayor’s son.

Unfortunately, a deadly retaliation took place later that day with terrorists opening fire from their car towards the guards at the Araman base in Deir Aamar, killing two Lebanese soldiers. Injuries were also reported.
