Lebanon Is Reinforcing Strict Health Measures

The Ministry of Interior and Municipalities in Lebanon just announced, on Thursday, the renewal of strict health and safety measures in the country.

The Ministry asked the citizens to fully re-comply with all the measures and precautions due to the country witnessing an increase in COVID-19 cases.

All institutions, halls of social events, restaurants, cafes, nightclubs, hotels, swimming pools, markets, supermarkets, and shops are required to put sterilizers on the entrances and elevators especially.

Employees and customers must wear masks at all times, otherwise, they will be denied entry to said public places. That in addition to maintaining social distancing and reducing overcrowding by nearly half the capacity of the place.

Shishas are banned completely in both enclosed and open spaces. Every violation will be met by a fine of up to 50,000 LL.

Noting that Lebanon has recorded 161 new cases on this same day, according to the Miniter of Health, Hamad Hasan.
