The Lebanese Cedars basketball team may have lost the FIBA Asia Cup but won every Lebanese person’s heart!

The Cedars served an outstanding game facing the Australian team, which has been ranked 3rd in the world, according to FIBA, and lost by only 2 points!

This loss isn’t even acknowledged by the Lebanese people, who are considering this qualification a game-changer for the future of Lebanon’s basketball, called upon as “Lebanon’s Pride”.

To spice things up, Wael Arakji won MVP (Most Valuable Player) of FIBA Asia Cup 2022.

Lebanon’s team might have not brought the cup back home, but they brought joy into every Lebanese house and a breath of fresh air for the country with well-deserved international recognition.
