Lebanon’s U18 basketball team qualified for the FIBA U18 Asian Championship2022, which is now taking place in Iran from August 21 until August 28, 2022.
After the Lebanese team showed an exciting performance throughout the game, The Cedars began their matches in the Championship by defeating its Iranian counterpart (65-63) in the first group.
Lebanon’s U18 basketball team is classified in the championship’s Group A, along with Iran and Japan.
The Lebanese players are now set to play against the Japanese team on Monday, August 22, 2022.
Other countries participating in the FIBA U18 Asian Championship include China, Korea, and India (Group B), and Chinese Taipei, the Philippines, Syria, and Qatar (Group C).
