Under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Industry in Lebanon, the Lebanese Youth Power and La Keserwan are hosting an event to break the Guinness World Record of the Largest Apple Jam Jar in the World.

1,200 kg of Apple Jam will be made by using the fruits of Lebanon’s finest apple trees, grown in the soils of Mayrouba, a village rich with orchards of Golden and Mouwashah apples.

Mayrouba and other villages in Mount Lebanon account for 35% of the country’s apple production. Consequently, this activity is not only to entertain people but also aims to support the Lebanese farmers and encourage local production.

During the rather-unique Apple Festival, people will also get to enjoy many activities, such as food kiosks, entertainment, and local products, on Saturday and Sunday, October 8 and 9, 2022, at noon, at the Amphitheater of Mayrouba.

It is worth noting that Lebanon has broken the Guinness World Record more than 40 times, with the 16-years-old Lebanese Hassan Dawy setting a new record last month. Here are the details.
