Lebanon’s basketball team will host its New Zealand counterpart on Thursday, November 10th, at the Camille Chamoun Sports City as part of the FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifiers – window 5, which will be hosted by 3 Asian countries next year.

Both teams have already secured qualification, as Lebanon will be participating in the World cup for the 4th time in history after qualifying in 2002, 2006, and 2010.

Lebanon achieved its first victory over New Zealand in the last Asian Championship, in which the Lebanese basketball players were announced as the runner-ups.

However, the “Cedars Team” is missing key players, including Wael Arakji and Sergio Darwish who is recovering from an injury.

Lebanon will also host India on Sunday, November 13th, within the same window.

The Lebanese Basketball Federation launched tickets for the two matches, which are sold via all Virgin Ticketing Box Offices ABC branches.
