The presidential elections, which were scheduled for today, have failed to elect a Lebanese president for the sixth time.
The session’s results are as follows:
- White ballots: 46 votes
- MP Michel Mouawad: 43 votes
- Issam Khalifeh: 7 votes
- Ziad Baroud: 3 votes
- Suleiman Frangieh: 1 vote
- Other names: 1 vote
- 11 cancelled votes
Lebanese parliament speaker Nabih Berri then adjourned the next session for Thursday, November 24, 2022.
