The Asian Sambo Championships 2022 will be hosted by Lebanon for the first time with the participation of more than 500 players from 21 countries.
The tournament will be dedicated to all age groups, including adults and young men and women.
The sambo championship will open on Thursday, June 2 at 5:30 p.m. at the Fouad Chehab stadium in the Jounieh area.
The opening ceremony includes a speech by the president of the Lebanese Judo Federation and the Secretary-General of the Asian Sambo Federation.
Sports competitions will take place in various categories, including the Asian Sambo Championships (M&W, Combat Sambo) and Asian Youth and Junior Sambo Championships (M&W).
Numerous Asian Sambists will fight vigorously for the medals, along with representatives of Australia and Oceania, as teams from Australia and New Zealand will participate in competitions.
