The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division announced on Monday 19th February 2024 that they have increased traffic fines; they declared: “In an implementation of Article 42 of the General Budget Law for the year 2024, which stipulates doubling the fines specified in Traffic Law No. 10, up to tenfold, with the fine not being less than 250,000 LBP.”
The Internal Security Forces emphasized that they “will begin implementing the provisions of the aforementioned article.”
They urged drivers to adhere to the provisions of the Traffic Law to safeguard their lives and the safety of others.
