AP Home Resources Coronavirus Outbreak in Lebanon Resources Share on Facebook WhatsApp Donate Tweet Copy Link Starting March 1st, 2022, the Ministry of Public Health will start giving the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine to the age group 12-18 years, and the Moderna vaccine to the age group 19 and above. Any citizen wishing to receive the Covid-19 vaccine can make a prior appointment through the COVAX platform, or go to the nearest vaccination center without a prior appointment: Children between 12 – 18 years old can take the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine, through an appointment on the Covax platform or through a walk-in. Adults of 19 years old and up can take the Moderna vaccine, through appointment on Covax or Walk-in. According to the Ministry of Public Health, those are the guideline of taking the vaccine: Pfizer BioNTech: The second dose can be taken 21 days after the first shot, and the third dose at least 4 months after the second shot. Moderna: The second dose can be taken 28 days after the first shot, and the third dose 4 months after the second shot.
