Starting March 1st, 2022, the Ministry of Public Health will start giving the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine to the age group 12-18 years, and the Moderna vaccine to the age group 19 and above.
Any citizen wishing to receive the Covid-19 vaccine can make a prior appointment through the COVAX platform, or go to the nearest vaccination center without a prior appointment:
- Children between 12 – 18 years old can take the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine, through an appointment on the Covax platform or through a walk-in.
- Adults of 19 years old and up can take the Moderna vaccine, through appointment on Covax or Walk-in.
According to the Ministry of Public Health, those are the guideline of taking the vaccine:
Pfizer BioNTech: The second dose can be taken 21 days after the first shot, and the third dose at least 4 months after the second shot.
Moderna: The second dose can be taken 28 days after the first shot, and the third dose 4 months after the second shot.
