The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants issued on Thursday the contacts by which Lebanese nationals in Ukraine can now use to have a safe way home.
The Lebanese Foreign Ministry is urging Lebanese nationals in Ukraine “to be extremely cautious and remain in safe places,” adding that those wanting to leave can now register their names by filling the Ukraine Form on the ministry’s website.
The Ministry provided emergency contacts for Lebanese nationals in Ukraine to use:
- Nawal Lishaa Aboud 03242659
- Lara Azzi 70615491 (Hotline).
The Ministry also asked all concerned countries to secure a safe passage and facilitate the departure of Lebanese nationals who want to leave Ukraine based on the security developments.
Many Lebanese students are stuck in Ukraine, some reportedly hiding in parking garages, and not able to buy food or get to Lebanon safely.
There have also been complaints that the Lebanese Embassy in Kyiv is not responding to their calls or messages.
As of the time of writing, tweets from Lebanese continue to circulate on Twitter asking for help for their family members stuck in Ukraine.
