The Lebanese team beat its Iraqi counterpart (0:1) in the semi-finals of the 9th West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) U16 Boys Championship 2022, which is hosted at the Aqaba Stadium in Jordan.
Lebanon is now officially qualified for the final, which will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, and will face the Jordanian team, who won the semi-finals against Syria.
The win came after Lebanese player, Mohamed Yassin, scored the only goal of the match in the 43rd minute.
