Lebanon gained two additional awards at the Islamic Solidarity Game (ISSF), which is held in Konya, Turkey, through two taekwondo players, Ward Salman and Tarek Moussalli.
Ward Salman scored a silver medal, defeating her competitors from Uzbekistan and Jordan, and lost in the final against Turkey.
As for Tarek Moussalli, he won a bronze medal, leading Lebanon’s tally to rise by 3 medals, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals at the Islamic Solidarity Game.
It is worth noting that Lebanon earned its first medal at the tournament through the Taekwondo champion Laetitia Aoun, who scored the bronze medal.
