Lebanon Will Cover The Medical Costs Of Cholera Patients

The Ministry of Public Health issued a decision No. 1.47/1, to regulate the mechanism for receiving patients suspected of being infected with the cholera epidemic.

The decision stipulates that the expenses of treating all Lebanese patients infected with cholera in government hospitals, whether in emergency rooms or upon admission to the hospital, be fully covered at 100% at the expense of the Ministry of Public Health.

Lebanon had registered in the latest update from the MOPH, 12 new cases raising the cumulative number to 239 as well as 3 new deaths raising the cumulative number to 10.
