On Sunday, Caretaker Minister of Public Health, Firas Al-Abiad, announced that the ministry will be receiving medical aid from Turkey.

The donation is set to arrive Tuesday at 9:30 and includes 11 containers of medical supplies.

The aid will be transported to the Ministry of Health’s medical warehouse at the Lebanese University (LU) in Hadath, Beirut, in the presence of the Turkish ambassador to Lebanon, Ali Baris Ulusoy, and the Secretary-General of the Higher Relief Commission, Mohammad Khair.

This is not the first time that Turkey aided Lebanon this year.

Back in May, Lebanon received 524 tons of food aid from Turkey.

Recently, Lebanon’s Ministry of Health received donations of fuel from Qatar and medicines from two European companies.
