The Lebanese women’s volleyball team will participate in the West Asian Championship, which is held in Amman, Jordan, from November 13 until November 23, 2022.
10 teams from the west Asian region will be participating in the championship, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Qatar, Lebanon, Oman, and Jordan.
The following are the names of the Lebanese delegation that will play in Jordan:
Mira Adra, Sarah Akari, Aya Maria Matar, Lea Shbib, Mirna Sheikho, Yasmine Tamer, Reem Al-Ali, Andrea Abi Saab, Mariella Jreidi, Emma Safa, Karen Moukarzel and Celine Beshaalani.
Additionally, the Cedars national team is going through intensive technical preparations, as the team is counting on achieving good results in the championship and climbing to the podium.
Lebanon will play 3 matches with their Jordanian counterpart as part of their preparations for the regional championship on Saturday, October 29; Sunday, October 30; and Monday, October 31, 2022.
