Lebanon’s team won 3 gold medals in the Masters Weightlifting Mediterranean (MWM) International Open 2022 held in Athens.

The Lebanese champions are Khodor Alaywan, Adnan Marfouse, and Wajih Albini.

Here are the results:

In the 45-year-old category, weightlifter Khader Alaywan won the gold medal after successfully lifting 102 kg in snatch, 110 kg in nitro, and 212 kg in total.

In the 50-year-old category, weightlifter Wajih Albini won the gold, lifting 88kg snatch, 95kg net, and 183kg total.

In the 55-year-old category, weightlifter Adnan Marfosa also won the gold medal after lifting 97 kg by snatch, 118 kg by the net, and 215 kg in total.
