A number of the people of Arab Abu Jabal attacked the Zahle electricity production plant and the factory’s workers.
Two workers were seriously injured and taken to Khoury General Hospital. They also attacked the factory’s property by shooting and throwing stones.
The attack on the factory came after they were cut off from the electricity supply for refusing to pay their bills. They reportedly aimed to cut off the electricity supply to Zahle and sixteen towns.
