The captain of Lebanon’s National Football Team, Hassan Maatouk, will be starring in a new Netflix docuseries featuring 6 of the biggest names in football.
Co-produced by FIFA, the documentary titled “Captains” highlights six captains, each coming from a different continent, and focuses on their professional and personal lives during the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifications.
Lebanese Hassan Maatouk, who plays his league games with Al-Ansar FC, was selected to represent Asia by the sport’s international governing body.
The documentary will also feature Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Gabon, Brian Kaltak from Vanuatu, Andre Blake from Jamaica, Thiago Silva from Brazil, and Luka Modrić from Croatia.
According to the Lebanese Football Association, “Captains” will be streaming on Netflix and FIFA + starting October 26, 2022.
