Lebanon’s rail transport in its heyday!

Lebanon’s

railway

was 408 km long. It connected Beirut to Damascus, Syria, and Haifa. Unfortunately, the train stations have been abandoned because of the Lebanese Civil War. Today, there is nothing left but station buildings and trains in ruins. We would love to have a rail transport in Lebanon again!
