June is Pride Month where the LGBTQ+ community gathers online and offline to celebrate diversity and “love is love.”
As the world has endorsed acceptance of all people regardless of their differences, including the LGBTQ+ community, Lebanon is also opening up despite certain resistance among some.
Activism in Lebanon has been raising the voices of the LGBTQ+ community in its diversity, and more so in recent years, and societal acceptance has grown, slowly but steadily.
Restaurants, bars, and clubs are also opening up, becoming LGBTQ+ friendly, and here are the notable ones:
