The Housing Bank will launch a website to serve those who want to apply for loans, which include a home purchase loan, a restoration loan, and a loan to install solar panels.

These loans are exclusive to Lebanese with limited income, provided that they have not previously benefited from any housing loan, and that they do not own a house registered in their name in Lebanon.

The available loans are:

  • A Home Purchase Loan and the Housing Bank have allocated a maximum amount of 1 billion LL as an allowance for purchasing an apartment of 120 square meters, in installments over 30 years, with an interest not exceeding 4.99%.
  • Home Renovation Loan, a maximum amount of 400,000,000 LL was allocated in installments over 10 years, at an interest rate of 4.99%.
  • For Solar Energy Loans, the financial ceiling ranges between 75,000,000 LL and 200,000,000 LL, to be paid over 5 years, at an interest rate of 4.99%.

These loans are financed by the Arab Fund for Social Development in Kuwait, and from the Banque du Liban.
