Today, the mayors of Jdeideh, Bouchrieh, and Al-Sadd have formally submitted a letter to the General Directorate of Public Security.
Their request focuses on the immediate closure of all shops operating illegally and managed by non-Lebanese individuals.
This is what came in the letter:

To summarize the above: “Due to the rise in illegal businesses owned by unauthorized individuals, there’s a notable impact on the region’s economic and financial status. This growth in violations suggests a looming threat to the region’s inhabitants. We urge you to make informed decisions to address these issues effectively.”
