Lebanese-Australians are organizing the longest dabke line in the world!

What’s better than dancing the dabke during a Lebanese gathering? Sahra Entertainment is a Middle Eastern entertainment group in Australia. It is organizing the longest dabke line in the world to show support to the Lebanese rugby team, The Cedars, that took part in the

Rugby League World Cup

. It’s a fun event, so don’t worry if you’re not a professional dabke dancer! There will be media broadcasters; so make sure to spread the word and invite your relatives and friends to join! There will be two performances which will take place in Brisbane on December 2:

  • North Plaza Area 3 from 5:50 PM until 6:10 PM
  • South Plaza Area 2 from 6:15 PM until 6:30 PM

Lebanon broke a

Guinness World record

when it organized the

largest dabke dance in Dhour El-Shweir

on August 7, 2001. 5,050 dancers took part in the dance! Save the date and be many! For more information about the event, click
