Lufthansa Airlines has announced the suspension of its flights to and from Beirut. The decision comes in light of the prevailing security situation in Lebanon.
Lufthansa told 961 News that this decision will be effective until the end of October, with the possibility of extending it if the situation in the country stays unstable.
Noting that Lufthansa is Germany’s biggest airline. It ranks second in Europe by passenger numbers and fleet size when including its subsidiaries.
