Hummus is taking over the world! The Lebanese Society at Manchester University is organizing a hummus festival which will take place next month! The event is open to the students and the public. The attendees will get the chance to take part in fun activities, such as a blindfolded hummus tasting competition! Also, pots of hummus will be sold at the festival for £1. Laura Najem, the founder of the Lebanese Society, told in an
that she created the club to bring Lebanese students in Manchester together. Also, she wants this event to be an opportunity to introduce people to authentic hummus, unlike the hummus that is found in local stores. The hummus festival will take place on March 1 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in Manchester University. Visit the event’s page
