The Lebanese athlete Mazen Shriem represented Lebanon at the World Masters Athletics Tampere 2022, where athletes from various countries participated.
During the competition, which took place between June 29 to July 10, 2022, in Finland, the Lebanese athlete ranked 4th after clearing 58.58 seconds in the 400m hurdles, as he scored 59.07 in the semi-final.
Shriem also scored 51.71 seconds in the 400m and came 6th after he scored 52.08 in the semi-final.
Many Lebanese athletes are now making their country proud abroad. That’s especially when it comes to basketball, as the Lebanese people are now awaiting the results of the FIBA Asia Cup 2022.
