Middle East Airlines (MEA), Lebanon’s national carrier, revealed plans on Thursday to expand its flight schedule for the upcoming holiday season. This strategic move includes adding 151 extra flights from December 14, 2023, to January 10, 2024.
This decision follows MEA‘s previous announcement on October 22 to scale back its flight operations, influenced by regional instability and a decrease in aviation war risk insurance coverage in Lebanon.
The airline’s latest move signals a significant increase in passenger travel options during the holiday season.
