The World Health Organization (WHO) has fast-tracked the delivery of crucial medical supplies to Lebanon amid rising tensions with Israel.
Two shipments have arrived in Beirut from WHO’s logistics hub in Dubai. These supplies include surgical and trauma medicine sufficient to treat 800 to 1,000 injured patients.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health is currently identifying the referral hospitals that will receive these essential supplies.
