With a great passion for the world of art and design, the multi-awarded Lebanese designer Tarfa Itani has been making headlines in the luxurious field of jewelry making.
In 2006, Itani established her eponymous jewelry design house Falamank in Beirut where she opened her first store and studio 4 years later.
Falamank by Tarfa Itani combines her rich oriental heritage with traditional craftsmanship to produce fine, unique, and contemporary pieces.
Based in Beirut, the jewelry design house is currently producing collections that are worn around the world.
From its main showroom and through an exclusive network of selected retailers, the brand is showcasing original designs of handmade jewelry, and getting internationally recognized with Premier Awards for the Best Fashion Design and the Best Oriental Designs.
Tarfa Itani is a graduate jeweler of the prestigious Gemological Institute of America (GIA). She uses her years-earned techniques to create pieces inspired by orientalism, using precious metals, diamonds, and gemstones as a way to express her traditional roots.
Throughout her fine jewelry, Itani fuses a high sense of attention to detail while also pioneering an avant-garde and cutting-edge style to provide her clientele with luxurious items that can be timeless and handed through the generations.
Sculptural and flexible, Tarfa’s innovative formula is the main key to her success, creativity, and craftsmanship.
Her designs have also been sported by acclaimed celebrities and personalities, including the likes of Paris Hilton, Reem Acra, Rym Saidi, Dima Sadek, and even Queen Rania of Jordan, among others.
In 2020, Tarfa Itani was featured on Forbes’ Women Behind Middle Eastern Brands 2020 list, which highlighted 40 female creators who managed to survive the Covid-19 pandemic, grow their brands, and push all kinds of boundaries.
