These Are Michel Hayek’s 2021 Predictions For The Middle East

On New Year’s Eve, Michel Hayek dropped his awaited predictions for Lebanon, the Middle East, and the rest of the world for the new year.

After the end of what was deemed a mostly terrible year for the world, not excluding the Middle East, and especially Lebanon, people are hoping for less distressing times and more positive events for the region in 2021.

While certainly not all of them are merry, there are many interesting predictions on Michel Hayek’s forecast for the Middle East.

Highlights

• The soil of Golan and Quneitra: more blood, and the geography in these two sites is subject to new agreements and signatures.
• The destruction and collapse of an essential landmark in Israel.
• The shock selects one of Egypt’s airports as its landing site.
• Sad news spreads all over the UAE.
• The Ain Al-Assad military base is in the eye of the war storm.

Syria

• Faisal Mekdad leaves, with a lot of caution and danger, a distinguishing mark that prints the responsibility put on his shoulders.
• Suddenly, a Syrian area will be mentioned as a holy land.
• Not easily, people will come to know the reality of what will happen between the group of people close to – or beside- President Al-Assad.
• A brave move is accompanied by media noise to unlock the secret of a Syrian prison and releasing a truth related to hidden names.
• Crowds and traffic, and gatherings in As-Suwayda, and the fogginess of the scene prevents me from knowing if it’s happiness or sadness, condemnation or revolution.

• A retaliatory uprising, after a long silence, for the Syrian-Iranian arsenal to deter the Israeli violations and airstrikes.
• Temporary impressiveness with a strange scene in Sednayah.
• Al-Hayba (The Prestige): The Return, and the return of the Syrian prestige to Syria.
• The decision of assassination by lifting the immunity from some forbidden heads.
• Asma Al-Assad faces a new equation that heads the front of the movements.
