Lebanese deputy of Metn, Michel Murr, has just passed away according to the state-run National News Agency.
Murr passed away due to complications from COVID-19.
On March 20th, 1991, Michel Murr, then Defense Minister, survived an assassination attempt in Beirut after a car bomb detonated as his convoy drove by. 8 civilians were killed and another 38 injured.
