The coronavirus has claimed yet another prominent Lebanese this week. On Tuesday, Lebanese actor Michel Tabet has passed away at the age of 91 due to COVID-19.
He was famous for his villain roles in many Lebanese movies and series and was also the head of the Syndicate of Actors in Lebanon.
Lebanese actors such as Carmen Lebbos, Mike Massy, Maguy Bou Ghosn, and more took to social media to mourn the loss of the veteran actor.
The news of his death comes the day after Lebanon bid farewell to MP Jean Obeid, who was the second MP to pass away this year due to COVID-19.
Last month, the virus also claimed the life of the oldest member of Parliament, Michel Murr.
