The Lebanese Mohamed El-Mir has excelled once again, winning 3rd place at the Mental Calculation World Cup 2022, which took place in Germany.
The 9th Mental Calculation World Cup was held between July 15th and 17th in Paderborn at the Heinz Nixdorf Museums Forum, hosting 30 to 40 competitors from around the world.
Along with the tens of competitors, the young Lebanese El-Mir attained the 3rd runner-up rank of the Overall Winners, for the combined score of all 10 events, with 542.19 points!
“I’ve been in a lot of competitions in the past few years, but this time it was different; last-minute decisions, no time for practice, the economic crisis in Lebanon, and one week to go back to Canada, but WE did it,” Mohammad El-Mir shared on his Facebook account.
