More Aid Just Arrived In Blast-Torn Beirut From France, Iraq, And Egypt

Weeks after the explosion, numerous world countries are still providing their humanitarian aid and assistance to vulnerable Beirut.

Additional food aid also arrived from Iraq, stated the Lebanese army. Iraq had announced its commitment to providing Lebanon with 1 million liters of fuel as well as over 13,000 tonnes of wheat.

Egypt also just sent its 12th aid plane to Beirut-Rafik Hariri International Airport. The shipment delivered around 30 tonnes of medical equipment, food, and other relief items.

Just this week, Egypt’s Coptic Orthodox Church & Al-Azhar sent two planes carrying 27 tonnes of foodstuffs, wheat flour, medicine, and other aid to Lebanon.

In addition, France is also continuing to support Lebanon during this troublesome time. On Monday morning, France sent 10 firefighters to help the firefighters of Beirut in securing vulnerable infrastructure.

Help in the form of goods and services continues to be at the disposal of Lebanon and its government, while financial assistance and also goods are going through directly to trusted NGOs.
