An individual, whose name is undisclosed at the moment, fired shots on Riad El-Solh street in Saida near the residence of Minister Abdel-Rahman El-Bizri.
The shooting damaged the glass panels of the Dandashli building adjacent to his house.
The Internal Security Forces (ISF) headed to the crime scene to investigate the shooting and allegedly caught the perpetrator.
On a radio podcast, Bizri said that a 4×4 black car shot in the area around his house but he does not believe the incident has anything to do with him.
He described this as an ongoing security evasion and said that “the identity of the perpetrator is known, and it’s now up to the Internal Security Forces.”
In a country where each and every house owns a weapon or more and has yet to disintegrate from the residue of the civil war, similar cases are reported almost every day.
