Paul Naggear and Tracy Awad Naggear, the parents of Alexandra Naggear, one of the youngest victims of the Beirut port explosion, are organizing a great initiative this year to fight hunger this Christmas in Lebanon.
In a post on Facebook, Tracy expressed that she and her husband need volunteers to help them provide, prepare, and distribute 12,000 meals and Yule Logs for families in need.
Last year, Naggear’s Christmas initiative managed to provide 6,000 meals and Yule logs to their neighbors affected by the deadly Beirut Blast with the help of volunteers and non-governmental organizations.
According to Tracy: “Sadly this year, the situation has worsened, with increasing poverty, unemployment, and blocked funds, so many people including children can’t afford hot meals. This is why we would like to double our efforts and distribute 12,000 meals. So your help is much needed!”
