A couple of months ago, the Lebanese University (LU) was ranked among the top in the world. Now, it surprised itself with other international achievements.
For the first time in its history, the Lebanese University was on this year’s classification of the British institution QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) that specializes in higher education.
LU was able to reserve an advanced place among the international universities (701/750) out of more than one thousand universities.

However, data from one year were sufficient for the Lebanese University to be ranked 25 in the region. View the full results here.
In addition, QS ranked LU among the best 8 universities in Lebanon for the year 2021, with AUB taking the lead followed by the University of Balamand and Saint-Joseph University. Here’s the list:
Noting that QS had previously ranked AUB first in the MENA region for two consecutive years.
