The Minister of Economy and Trade in the Lebanese caretaker government, Amin Salam, issued a decision to determine the weight and price of “white” Lebanese flatbread and to announce a new price, in line with the depreciation of the dollar exchange rate.
The decision sets the price of the bundle in the bakeries, and its delivery by distributors or bakeries to the stores without an increase according to the following:
- A bundle of small size, with a weight of not less than 340 grams: 10,000 LBP as a maximum.
- A medium-sized bundle, with a weight of not less than 835 grams: 17,000 LBP as a maximum.
- A large bundle, weighing no less than 10,107 grams: 21,000 LBP as a maximum.
