Last night, a huge New Year’s Eve party took place in Downtown Beirut where thousands of Lebanese people welcomed 2018. The party was organized by the municipality of Beirut under the patronage of Prime Minister Saad Hariri. Artists, singers, DJs, an optical illusion show, a firework show, and Souk El Akel revived Beirut. It was an unforgettable night! Pictures and videos of the party went viral on social media. Lebanese people around the world were more than happy to see Beirut beautiful and full of life. Despite the recent political crisis in Lebanon, which was the resignation of the Prime Minister, the country stood back on its feet again. This is Lebanon: a country that will always remain alive!
