Senior Hamas Leader & 5 Others Just Killed After Israeli Strike In Beirut

Beirut experienced Israeli airstrikes for the first time since the 2006 war.

These strikes resulted in the death of Saleh al-Arouri, Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, in the Al-Mashrafieh area, south of Dahieh – a Hezbollah stronghold in Beirut.

Security forces and Hezbollah members discharged firearms nearby to disperse the crowd.

A targeted car in the area was completely destroyed, and authorities are refusing the public to approach it.

A 961 team member at the site of the attack describes seeing body parts scattered across the street.

An Israeli drone was reportedly behind the attack on a Hamas office and car that led to 6 deaths, including at least 2 reported Hamas Qassam Brigade members, and many injuries.

Israeli media reported that the assassinated Hamas leader had a scheduled meeting with Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah, the next day.

Israeli aircraft were observed flying over Beirut, its southern suburbs, and Khaldeh at high altitudes.
