Lebanon will host the Russian Film Week starting from March 20th to 26th with a series of performances featuring the latest Russian film productions.
The festival is organized by the Russian-Lebanese Business Council, the International Association of Islamic Business, and the representative office of the Russian Agency for International Cooperation of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rossotrudnichestvo, in Lebanon.
This event coincides with the regular meeting of the Russian-Lebanese Business Council, which will be attended by representatives of Russian and Lebanese companies. The council will take place on the eve of the visit of Lebanese President Michel Aoun to Russia.
The first grand opening night of the Russian Film Festival will be held in Beirut, at the ABC Verdun mall on March 20. It will be followed the next night with the second grand opening at the Safadi Cultural Center in Tripoli, North of Lebanon.
For all those of you who are looking forward to watching any of the most recent and famous Russian films, they will be available to the public in Beirut (Abc Verdun, Grand Cinemas) and in Tripoli (Safadi Cultural Center).
These films include the most acclaimed Russian films such as "Attraction (3D), "Coach" (Sports Drama), "T-34" (War ), and "Bolshoy" (Drama), as well as a number of cartoons and documentaries.
In addition to the screening of cinematic works in the Grand Cinemas and Safadi Cultural Center, the documentary "The Ridge, Russia from the Train Window" will be screened at the Theater of the Russian Cultural Center in Beirut.
The first Russian Film Festival was held in Beirut on October 24, 2016. It was contributed back then to bolstering cultural ties between Russia and the Middle East.
